Founded in 1990 by Theopolis Clardy Sr., the premise was built on fast service. King Ribs established one of the first drive thru barbecue restaurants in Indiana, proving barbecue can be served in a fast manner, and still provide amazing food!

Got the Wednesday Special which was 1/2 of a chicken and 2 sides of Mac n Cheese for the low price of $8.99 ! Can't get a better meal than this for the price! Next time I want to buy some BBQ dauce so I can have some at home...highly recommend!

I've ate a lot of BBQ across the USA. King Ribs is definitely the #1 smoked ribs & chicken restaurant in Indy and would rank right up there nationally. Authentic atmosphere, the smoke smells just as good as the food tastes. Drive thru is great, roll the windows down and enjoy the smell.

For this year’s Christmas party, I decided to go barbecue for the staff. Being in speedway I love promoting other speedway businesses so this barbecue spot was the perfect location to get our meal for our party. Not only did the staff love the food. They also had enough to take home.

I didn't get to go myself but I had it delivered. I ordered the chicken and rib tips combo. The chicken was on point!! Seasoned perfectly and still had some juiciness. The tips were delicious too. Some of them were hard like burnt ends but they still got ate. The Mac n cheese was top tier.
